Loan Finder A–Z
Every business loan type we cover — 55 of them — in one searchable directory. Filter by what the money is for, what you can offer as security, how quickly you need it and how much.
No loan types match all of those filters. Try removing one — or just tell us what you need and we'll find the right entry.
How to use the Loan Finder
Australian business finance has a lot of names for a small number of ideas. The Loan Finder puts every one of them on a single shelf so you can narrow the list in seconds. Start with the filter that matters most to you. If you know what the money is for — clearing a tax bill, buying a ute, paying an overseas supplier — choose that purpose first. If you already know what you can offer as security, such as a home with equity or nothing at all, pick that instead. Each card links to a full page explaining how that loan works, who it suits, what lenders check and the mistakes to avoid.
The search box understands the alternative names people use. Type "factoring" and you'll find debtor finance; type "merchant cash advance" and revenue-based finance appears; "yellow goods" brings up machinery finance. If the term you searched for isn't here at all, the A–Z index lists every name and alias in alphabetical order.
What the filters mean
- Money is for groups loans by the job they do: cash flow and working capital, tax bills and debts, equipment and vehicles, stock and invoices, property and projects, or buying and growing a business.
- Security tells you what usually backs the loan. Property-secured lending runs from $20,000 to $5,000,000. "No property needed" covers unsecured and cash flow lending, typically $5,000 to $500,000 sized on turnover. Asset finance is secured by the thing being bought; trade and invoice finance by your receivables or stock.
- Turnaround highlights loan types that generally involve less paperwork when your documents are ready. It's a guide, not a promise of a particular timeframe.
- Amount hides loan types that don't usually stretch to the figure you need.
Why there are no rates
Every loan is priced on the borrower's circumstances: the security, the purpose, the term, the credit history and the strength of the business. A table of headline figures would mislead more people than it helped, so we explain the full cost of any option in dollars once we understand your situation.
Narrowed it down?
If you've got two or three cards that look right, the which-loan matcher ranks them against your answers to five quick questions. Or go straight to a specialist: a 60-second enquiry is all it takes, with no credit check when you enquire.
No credit check to enquire
Looking up a loan and asking about it leaves your credit file untouched. A check only comes up later, if you choose to apply.
Not shopped around
We don't auction your enquiry to a crowd of lenders. One person reads it and points it at the option that actually suits.
A real person on your file
Someone who knows the whole A to Z of business lending calls you back. Honest form answers mean the right shelf first time.
Frequently asked questions
How many loan types are in the Loan Finder?
All 55 loan types on the site, from bridging loans to working capital, plus their alternative names in the search.
Does using the Loan Finder affect my credit?
No. It runs entirely in your browser and asks for nothing personal. Enquiring afterwards doesn't involve a credit check either.
Why doesn't it show interest rates?
Because every loan is priced on the borrower's circumstances. A published rate would mislead more people than it helped.
What does 'quicker to arrange' mean?
It flags loan types that generally involve less paperwork and assessment when your documents are ready. It isn't a promise of a particular timeframe.
I've found two or three that fit. What next?
Try the five-question matcher to rank them, or send a 60-second enquiry and a specialist will tell you which suits your situation.
