Why a directory?

Business finance has a naming problem. The same product can be called a cash flow loan, a working capital facility or an unsecured business loan depending on who's selling it. Debtor finance, factoring and receivables finance overlap. Asset finance, equipment finance and a chattel mortgage are often the same thing in different clothes. Owners lose hours trying to work out whether two lenders are even talking about the same product.

So we organised it. Every loan type has its own entry, filed on one of four shelves: property-secured, cash flow and unsecured, trade, stock and assets, and growth and restructuring. The A–Z index maps every alternative name back to the right entry, and the Loan Finder and matcher narrow the list down for you.

Australian business owners of every size and shape: sole traders and family companies, tradies and professionals, retailers, wholesalers, farmers, builders, importers and franchisees. Some have perfect paperwork; many don't. Some own property; many don't. Some need a modest line of credit; others need a seven-figure property-secured facility. The directory is built so each of them can find their entry quickly.

Through our lending network, property-secured business loans range from $20,000 to $5,000,000. Unsecured, cash flow and line-of-credit options for trading businesses typically run from $5,000 to $500,000, sized on turnover and bank statements. Past credit issues and ATO debts are considered case by case. All lending is for business purposes only.

How we work

You tell us, in about a minute, what the money is for and a little about the business. There's no credit check when you enquire. One specialist reads your enquiry and calls you to understand the whole picture, including the awkward bits. Then they explain which entries in the directory genuinely fit, what each would involve and what it would take to go ahead. Only if you choose to proceed does anything formal happen.
